Fourth Grade

Welcome to Tournament Hills’

4th Grade

We would like to welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year. We look forward to helping your son or daughter reach his or her full academic potential this year. Our expectations for academic progress and student behavior are quite high. All students are expected to follow the Tournament Hills expectations:

Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Safe!

In addition to reaching mastery of grade level standards, our classrooms will stress the importance of scholarliness and good character – two qualities that will serve your child for a lifetime. We look forward to working with your child this year and sharing in his or her successes.

We are very pleased to have the opportunity to work with your child this school year. Fourth grade is a very important year for students to start building upon foundational skills in more meaningful and complex ways. We have established a program filled with new challenges and experiences that will help your child grow as a student and as a person.

All Fourth Grade teachers have a website where we update parents on daily behavior, general reminders, and upcoming events. PLEASE make sure you have signed up with your child's teacher to make sure you are staying informed.

Classroom Newsletter

A newsletter will be sent home weekly with your child. The newsletter will include spelling words, vocabulary, a grammar skill, reminders, and upcoming events. Every Wednesday your child will be tested on these skills, so please make sure they are prepared.

We greatly appreciate any supplies you can donate to help all of our students have a successful year.
